BY MIKE WOOF

Riders from Brixton, Mitcham and Peckham were in action recently at Merton – allowing competitors to qualify for next month’s South Championship.

All the categories were mixed.

The winners were Adrian Gailitis (seven-and-under), Ignacy Lorek (eight-year-old), Kai Bowen (10-year-old) and Jay Galloway (11-year-old) and Xander Malvowane Wright (12-year-old).

Lukah McKenzie dominated the 13-year-old category while Alex Taylor won the 14-year-old class.

Callum Bristow (15-16) dominated all afternoon as did Tai Suleyman (17-plus).
