Charlton Athletic confirm striker switch

Charlton Athletic striker Josh Davison has joined Forest Green Rovers on loan.

The 21-year-old striker scored four goals in 13 appearances for Woking in the first part of the 2020-21 campaign.

Now he will step up from National League level to test himself in League Two.

Charlton director of football Steve Gallen said: “Josh has done well on his loan spell with Woking.

“The next step in his development is to go and play football in League Two. The chance to join Forest Green Rovers on loan presents an excellent opportunity for him and can only help his development, which is important for us as a football club.”

Davison has made 12 senior appearances for Charlton Athletic, with nine of those coming in the Championship.
