Crystal Palace ‘agree’ deal for Chelsea centre-back Marc Guehi
The 21-year-old spent the 2020-21 campaign on loan at Swansea City. He made 52 appearances as the Swans reached the Championship play-off final.
The Athletic are reporting that Palace tabled Chelsea an offer that was ‘too good to refuse’, and the centre-back is set to undergo his medical at Selhurst Park today.
They add that Guehi is expected to sign a five-year deal with the South London club and that Chelsea have inserted a sell-on clause in the deal and also have the matching rights on a future move for the player.
Guehi is capped at England U16, U17, U18, U19, U20 and U21 level.
Norwich, West Ham, Brentford, Southampton and Newcastle have all been linked with him.
