Crystal Palace ‘close in’ on Lyon defender Joachim Andersen
Crystal Palace are reportedly closing in on the signing of Lyon centre-back Joachim Andersen.
The 25-year-old spent the 2020-21 campaign on loan at Fulham, where he made 31 appearances and scored one goal.
The Sun are reporting that the Eagles look ready to strike a deal worth £19million – rising to a possible £23m with add-ons – for the Danish defender.
They add that Andersen held extremely positive talks with new Palace boss Vieira and is set to sign a five-year deal with the South London club.
Andersen was part of the Danish side that reached the European Championships semi-finals before being knocked out by England.
