Crystal Palace defender will miss Sheffield United match
Gary Cahill will miss tomorrow’s home game against Sheffield United.
The 35-year-old Crystal Palace centre-back has not featured since the 7-0 thrashing at the hands of Liverpool on December 19.
The former Chelsea and Bolton defender has been unavailable for nine of their Premier League fixtures this season.
“Gary Cahill is still struggling from the slight hamstring he picked up 10 days or so ago.
“Doctors these days are very loathe to put an exact date. But we don’t think it’s going to be an extremely long period of time.
“These strains are a minimum of two weeks and maximum of three weeks. I’m not expecting him to be much longer.”
