Escorted hospital patient goes missing in Shooters Hill after running away from guard

Police are trying to trace a man who’s absconded from a mental health facility in Shooters Hill, Greenwich.

Brian Kalule, 38, was on escorted leave with a member of staff in the hospital grounds last Wednesday afternoon when he ran away.

He was last seen on CCTV from a shop in Shooters Hill at around 2.38pm the same day. He has not been seen since and his location is unknown.

He is not thought to be in contact with any family or friends.

Brian is mentally challenged and also takes medication for numerous physical conditions.

If seen by any members of the public, he should not be approached. Dial 999 immediately.
