£1,000 grants up for grabs for charities and community groups in Vauxhall
Charities and community groups in Vauxhall are being invited to apply for a £1,000 donation from the UK’s largest house builder.
The Barratt London Community Fund, part of the nationwide Barratt Homes and David Wilson Community Fund, has been set up to offer donations to both registered charities and community groups which are trying to make life better for residents.
Barratt London has been giving £1,000 every month to a local organisation that is improving the quality of life for those living in the vicinity of one of its developments or offices across the capital.
Karly Williams, regional sales director at Barratt London, said: ” “We are looking for charities and community groups that are really making a difference at a local level.
“It could be a conservation group that wants to improve the local public spaces and create habitats for wildlife, a plan for a new piece of play equipment in a community playground, or a lunch club for the elderly wanting to expand – every application will be very carefully considered by senior members of our team.”
Everyone at the South London Press thanks you for your continued support.
Former Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick has encouraged everyone in the country who can afford to do so to buy a newspaper, and told the Downing Street press briefing:
“A FREE COUNTRY NEEDS A FREE PRESS, AND THE NEWSPAPERS OF OUR COUNTRY ARE UNDER SIGNIFICANT FINANCIAL PRESSURE”
If you can afford to do so, we would be so grateful if you can make a donation which will allow us to continue to bring stories to you, both in print and online. Or please make cheques payable to “MSI Media Limited” and send by post to South London Press, Unit 112, 160 Bromley Road, Catford, London SE6 2NZ
