£1million lottery ticket is finally claimed…

This couple won £105million on the lottery – One Southwark punter is £1million richer this Christmas.

Someone in South London is £1million richer this Christmas.

The lucky ticket holder lives in Southwark and was made a millionaire in the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker prize from the special EuroMillions Event Draw on July 19.

It was left unclaimed – until now.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery said: “We’re delighted that the winner of this amazing prize has now come forward, especially in the lead up to Christmas, and we hope that they will enjoy their win.

“It would have been awful if the ticket-holder had missed out on this life-changing amount of money.

“We would like to remind all National Lottery players to check their tickets every time they play.”
