A man has died after a hit and run in Westminster.
Nizam Uddin, 48, who was local to the area, was hit by a car that failed to stop near the junction on Bourne Terrace and Harrow Road at around 2am on Tuesday morning.
Emergency services arrived at the scene and Nizam was taken to a central London hospital for treatment but died there at 3.30am.
The vehicle, a Green Jaguar XFSport, failed to stop at the scene and police are looking for the driver and any witnesses.
So far there have been no arrests.
