An actor and writer has made a return to the screen for a second season of his created comedy series on BBC Three.
Kayode Ewumi from Elephant and Castle is back again with his BBC sitcom Enterprice for another season, two years since its debut.
The actor raised on Aylesbury Estate and student at St Thomas Apostle School, Nunhead, described the series as a love letter to his area.
Kayode is most known for his role as R.S aka Roll Safe on YouTube series and BBC commissioned sitcom #HoodDocumentary.
His comedic role as a UK rapper archetype went viral, including a hilarious freestyle with 12 million views on Charlie Sloth’s Fire In The Booth.
Starring as Kazim beside actor Trieve Blackwood-Cambridge, the show followed two young entrepreneurs attempt to start up their delivery business – Speedi-Kazz but are faced with some roadblocks ahead.
Kayode told the BBC: “I wanted to show different narratives in a way no one has seen before. You’ll see characters with storylines you didn’t expect.
“Not everyone grew up in the ends and sometimes I think they can be forgotten about.
“I was just thinking of telling the stories of two young black boys who have a nerdy friendship, man.”
All five episodes of Enterprice were released on BBC iplayer.
