AFC Bournemouth are reportedly in pole position to sign Scott Dann after his Crystal Palace exit.
The 34-year-old is available on a free transfer after his contract expired at Selhurst Park on July 1.
Dann made 164 appearances and scored 13 goals for Crystal Palace during a seven-year stay in South London.
Football Insider are reporting that AFC Bournemouth are leading the chase for the centre-back.
They add that Dann is admired by Cherries boss Scott Parker, who is keen to recruit a defensive leader for his side’s Championship campaign.
Dann has made two appearances for England’s U21 side after making his debut in 2008.
