AFC Wimbledon 2022-23 fixtures – Gillingham at home kicks off League Two for Johnnie Jackson’s side

AFC Wimbledon will kick off their 2022-23 League Two campaign at home to Gillingham on July 30.

Both sides were relegated from League One last season. The Dons finished 23rd in the League One table while the Gills occupied the final spot in the bottom four and were relegated on goal difference.

This is the South Londoners’ first season back in the fourth tier of English football since the 2015-16 campaign when they won promotion via the play-offs.

The Dons’ first away game of the season is at Hartlepool United on August 6.

Next up is a home game against Doncaster Rovers, who were also relegated from League One last season, on August 13.

Two away games against Mansfield Town and Crawley Town follow for Johnnie Jackson’s side.

The Dons welcome Newport County to Plough Lane on Boxing Day and face Sutton United away on New Year’s Day.

The final game of the season is at Grimsby Town on May 6.
