Arsenal v Crystal Palace team line-ups: Paddy McCarthy makes two changes with Gunners loanee unavailable

Paddy McCarthy has named Joel Ward and Luka Milivojevic in his first Crystal Palace starting line-up.

The Eagles interim boss was placed in charge of the side for the trip to The Emerties after Patrick Vieira was sacked on Friday morning.

Palace are the only Premier League side without a win in 2023 and are three points above the relegation zone.

Joe Whitworth, 19, also continues in goal after making his Premier League and club debut in the 1-1 draw at Brighton on Wednesday.

Albert Sambi Lokonga – on loan from the Gunners – and Nathaniel Clyne drop out of the starting line-up.

Palace starting 11: Whitworth; Ward, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell; Milivojevic, Schlupp, Doucoure; Zaha, Edouard, Olise.

Arsenal: Ramsdale, White, Holding, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Partey, Xhaka, Odegaard; Saka, Trossard, Martinelli
