Aston Villa loanee could make Charlton Athletic return
Andre Green could be back in Charlton’s squad for their pivotal home game against Wigan on Saturday.
The 21-year-old has sat out the last three Championship fixtures with a toe injury and was an unused sub in the match before that, the derby reverse to Millwall.
Green, who will be a free agent at the end of this month, has been troubled by a toe problem.
“He trained Monday but he’s been away for four or five days,” said Addicks manager Lee Bowyer. “He had an injection. He trained Monday and is training again today. He could come back into the squad, depending if he gets through the next couple of days.”
