Blackheath care home Rectory Court named one of top 20 in London

A care home has been recognised in its industry’s awards as being in London’s top 20 best.

Rectory Court, in The Glebe, Blackheath, has been hailed in the Carehome.co.uk Awards 2020

The capital’s 1,349 care homes were rated against a range of criteria, including facilities, care and support, residents being treated with dignity, staff, activities and value for money. Rectory Court scored an impressive 9.8/10.

The firm which runs it, Cinnamon Care Collection, which manages another 12 care homes, was named a Top 20 mid-sized care home group.

Christine Valentine-Bunce, commissioning manager at Rectory Court, said: “It is a huge achievement to have won a Carehome.co.uk Award for the London region based on reviews from residents’ families and friends – and to win for the second consecutive year shows the consistently high level of care and support that we pride ourselves on providing to every resident at Rectory Court.”

Amanda Hopkins, reviews manager at carehome.co.uk said: “Choosing a care home can be time consuming and daunting, so we hope our awards, which are given to the highest rated homes, will help make the search easier.

“We would like to congratulate Rectory Court on being a Top 20 care home in London.

“It is such a big achievement to be named a top rated care home by the residents receiving the care as well as their family and friends.”
