By Lina Kurdi
A boys’ choir is holding a concert to mark the Summer Solstice.
The Trinity Boys Choir Nine, based in Shirley Park, Croydon, is holding a music concert for the solstice in the church of St John the Evangelist in Shirley Church Road, Croydon.
The concert will be held on May 6 at 7:30 pm as the choir will be otherwise engaged on June 21 – the longest day of the year.
The Trinity Boys Choir Nine is a specialist vocal ensemble founded within the main choir in 2014.
They will be joined by the professional soloists of Cirrus Voices, themselves former trebles, and a hand bell choir.
Tickets are £10 (£5 concessions). For ticket information and reservations email: office@stjohnsshirley.org.uk
