Brian Tonks’ picture gallery from Millwall’s annual Remembrance Day fixture at The Den
Millwall’s Championship match against Southampton yesterday was their annual Remembrance Day fixture.
The Lions squad warmed up in T-shirts which bore the names of local heroes from World War 1. The players’ matchday shirts had poppies on them and will be auctioned off, with all proceeds going to the Royal British Legion.
Here are a selection of Brian Tonks’ pictures from yesterday.

Former Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick has encouraged everyone in the country who can afford to do so to buy a newspaper, and told the Downing Street press briefing:
“A free country needs a free press, and the newspapers of our country are under significant financial pressure”.
If you can afford to do so, we would be so grateful if you can make a donation which will allow us to continue to bring stories to you, both in print and online.
