Professor Frank Joseph, director of DAM Health UK, launched his first Covid-19 in Clapham last week. Professor Joseph said: “Testing is now a way of life.”

More than 100,000 Southwark residents have now received their first Covid-19 jab

More than 100,000 Southwark residents have now received at least their first Covid-19 jab. The figure was hit on April 21, just ahead of the vaccine rollout extending to 44-year-olds in England.  Cllr Evelyn Akoto, cabinet member for public health and community safety at Southwark Council, congratulated all those who have received the vaccine.

Trust for London’s latest annual Poverty Profile has revealed that the number of people using food banks increased by 128 per cent in London between September 2019 and 2020, compared to a 56 per cent increase in the rest of England.
