Catford Wanderers LTC: Poor results as rain also wipes out the ladies match

Catford Wanderers picked up poor results at the weekend with the ladies second team losing badly at Willett Rec.

The veteran men’s second team – Tony Saeed, Colin Gentile, Jeff Titus and Greg Gustard – crashed 4-0 at Bexleyheath.

The midweek senior over-70 men’s vets lost 3-1 at home to Blackheath. Denis Costelloe and Jeff Titus picked up their victory.

The ladies first team of Kathy Aldridge, Julia Garling, Stephanie and Lilla Brown went to Gravesham saw incessant rain wash out their match – which was level after the first round.
