Catford Wanderers return to league action after 15-month break

League action returned to Catford Wanderers Tennis club last weekend after an absence of 15 months, with four teams in action.

The mens veterans second team were 3-1 winners at the David Lloyd Club Dartford. The side was John Allen, James Onifade, Kalm Azad and Andy Williams.

Wanderers ladies side lost 3-1 at Wickham Park in their Second Division clash.

The mixed team, under the captaincy of Julie Taylor, lost 4-2 against Chislehurst.

The only home fixture featured Catford veterans third side of John Townsend, John Norris, Adam Savage and Andy Hellier. They emerged 4-0 winners over Hartley Country Club.
