Charlton Athletic fended off Wrexham and Derby County bids before transfer window closes – with Miles Leaburn also attracting approaches
Charlton Athletic owners Global Football Partners knocked back bids for George Dobson, Corey Blackett-Taylor and Miles Leaburn at the end of the transfer window.
Ambitious Wrexham made a move for Addicks captain Dobson, pictured top.
Once that was rebuffed the League Two club agreed a deal with George Evans, who had his Millwall contract terminated by mutual consent.
And the South London Press also understands that Derby County were interested in rapid left winger Blackett-Taylor.

The former Tranmere Rovers attacker, who started his career on the books of Aston Villa, has started all of Charlton’s League One fixtures this season.
Both Dobson and Blackett-Taylor are inside the final 12 months of their Charlton deals.
Leaburn has recently returned from an ankle injury suffered in pre-season. He scored in the 4-3 EFL Trophy defeat at Crawley Town on Tuesday night.
There were bids lodged by a club in Germany and also in the Championship for the 19-year-old, who scored 13 goals in 40 matches last season.
