Charlton Athletic have signed Ben Amos – with the former Bolton and Millwall goalkeeper penning a 12-month deal.
There is also an option of another 12 months in SE7 as the 29-year-old returns to the Addicks on a permanent basis.
Amos spent last season on loan at Millwall but struggled to hold down a starting spot.
But he played 50 matches in the campaign before that for Charlton as they reached the League One play-offs.
Addicks manager Lee Bowyer had recently spoken about Amos being a potential addition.
Amos told the club’s official website: “It feels great. It doesn’t really feel like I’ve been away, to be honest.
“I know a lot of the people and the staff here. I want to play Championship football. I’m excited to get going.”
