Charlton Athletic suffer yet another injury setback ahead of Peterborough match

Charlton striker Josh Magennis is a major doubt for Saturday’s match at Peterborough United – with Tariqe Fosu and Jake Forster-Caskey also facing a race to be fit.

The latter two would have sat out last weekend’s derby at AFC Wimbledon if the match had not been postponed.

And now Magennis – the only established centre-forward in their squad – is also one that could miss out on selection.

Stephy Mavididi, Jay Dasilva, Ahmed Kashi and Billy Clarke are all unavailable due to injury.

Robinson said: “I’m not game-playing with anybody, it is Josh’s hamstring and he could be a big loss for us. I’ll know more today.

“I’m not 100 per cent sure if he will be fit.

“Tariqe and Jake have trained on their own on Tuesday. We’ll just have to see how they react, that could be more fatigue than anything.”
