Charlton Athletic to make improved contract offer to Joe Aribo

Charlton Athletic are set to make an improved contract offer to Joe Aribo.

The talented midfielder is due to be a free agent at the end of June, although the League One outfit will still be due compensation.

Addicks manager Lee Bowyer has spelled out all along that he wants to keep the Camberwell-born 22-year-old at The Valley.

“We are going to be going back to Joe either this week or early next week with another offer,” Bowyer told the South London Press. “We’re still working on that.”
