Charlton Athletic v Crewe team line-ups: Two changes for Addicks as Chelsea loanee returns
Charlton Athletic manager Nigel Adkins makes two changes for tonight’s League One home game against Crewe Alexandra.
Ian Maatsen, who had been missing with a hip injury, comes straight into the side to replace Diallang Jaiyesimi, who is unavailable after suffering a hamstring pull in Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Peterborough.
Ryan Inniss came off in the closing stages at the weekend with a slight niggle to his left knee. The centre-back is fit enough to be on the bench but Akin Famewo slots in alongside Jason Pearce.
Andrew Shinnie and Deji Oshilaja both fail to make the cut for the matchday squad but were out on the Valley pitch doing fitness work before kick off.
Charlton: Amos, Matthews, Inniss, Pearce, Purrington, Watson, Forster-Caskey, Gilbey, Millar, Maatsen, Stockley. Subs: Maynard-Brewer, Gunter, Aneke, Washington, Pratley, Morgan, Inniss.
Crewe: Jaaskelainen, Pickering, Wintle, Daniels, Lowery, Kirk, Ainley, Mandron, Dale, Adebisi, Wood. Subs: Richards, Porter, Lancashire, Johnson, Beckles, Walker, Evans.
