Charlton Athletic v Portsmouth team line-ups: Billy Clarke and Tariqe Fosu start as Addicks name a strong side
Charlton manager Karl Robinson has named a strong side for tonight’s EFL Trophy tie against Portsmouth – with Billy Clarke, Tariqe Fosu, Patrick Bauer and Ahmed Kashi all starting.
The quartet have all been regulars in the Addicks first-team this season in League One.
Charlton do not have a match on Saturday as international call-ups saw them postpone their planned trip to Shrewsbury. Ricky Holmes, Mark Marshall, Jake Forster-Caskey and Ben Reeves – who have netted in both previous fixtures in the competition – are named amongst the substitutes.
Charlton: Phillips, Dijksteel, Sarr, Bauer, Mascoll, Kashi, Aribo, Fosu, Ahearne-Grant, Clarke, Dodoo. Subs: Maynard-Brewer, Marshall, Holmes, Reeves, Forster-Caskey, Barnes, Hackett-Fairchild.
Portsmouth: McGee, Rose, Hawkins, Lalkovic, Main, Donohue, Chaplin, Thompson, Naismith, Evans, May. Subs: Bass, Burgess, O’Keefe, Pitman, Kennedy, Lowe, Haunstrup.
