Charlton Athletic v Portsmouth: Three changes made by Addicks boss for Fratton Park clash

BY RICHARD CAWLEY

Charlton manager Lee Bowyer has made three changes for tonight’s match at League One leaders Portsmouth.

The Addicks boss had spoken about the heigh and physical power of the hosts and it is no surprise that Naby Sarr is preferred to Toby Stevenson at left-back.

And Anfernee Dijksteel starts at right-back, as club captain Chris Solly misses his first league minutes this season.

The final switch sees Ben Reeves replace Tariqe Fosu.

Charlton: Steer, Dijksteel, Bauer, Pearce, Sarr, Bielik, Aribo, Reeves, Lapslie, Grant, Taylor. Subs: Phillips, Marshall, Fosu, Solly, Ajose, Hackett-Fairchild, Stevenson.

Portsmouth: MacGillivray, Brown, Clarke, Naylor, Hawkins, Lowe, Curtis, Whatmough, Thompson, Evans, Thompson. Subs: McGee, Walkes, Burgess, Pitman, Dennis, Close, Green.
