Charlton midfielder Joe Aribo opts for Rangers ahead of Southampton switch
BY RICHARD CAWLEY
Joe Aribo is set to sign a four-year contract at Glasgow Rangers – with only a medical left to complete before he seals his switch.
Southampton were also interested in the Addicks’ impressive young midfielder.
But Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has made it clear to Aribo that he will be a regular starter in his side.
Charlton will collect minimal compensation for the player as he has chosen to move outside of England.
