Charlton women’s trio get Wales call-ups for World Cup qualifiers

A trio of Charlton players have been called up as Wales manager Gemma Grainger selected a full-strength squad for the opening two matches in the World Cup 2023 qualification campaign.
Midfielders Anna Filbey and Megan Wynne and forward Elise Hughes, pictured top, will be part of the group who will face Kazakhstan in Llanelli on Friday, September 17 and visit Parnu to take on Estonia the following Tuesday.
The squad will again be captained by 106-times capped Chelsea holding midfielder Sophie Ingle.
