Children’s author Michael Rosen performs storytime at the Old Vic

The Old Vic welcomes back much-loved children’s author and poet Michael Rosen for a morning of festive storytelling.

On Saturday, November 27, children aged eight and older will be welcomed to the auditorium at the famous theatre – which has been transformed for this year’s production of A Christmas Carol.

Michael Rosen, author of We’re Going On a Bear Hunt and Sad Book, will read some of his own favourites.

After the performance, Mr Rosen’s books will be on sale and audiences will be able to get a copy signed.

Former Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick has encouraged everyone in the country who can afford to do so to buy a newspaper, and told the Downing Street press briefing: “A free country needs a free press, and the newspapers of our country are under significant financial pressure”.

So if you have enjoyed reading this story, and if you can afford to do so, we would be so grateful if you can buy our newspaper or make a donation, which will allow us to continue to bring stories like this one to you both in print and online.
