Christmas Market for independent business opens this weekend in Lambeth
A non-profit pottery studio in Lambeth is holding a Christmas market for independent business this weekend.
As well as the market, there will be a mixture of both free and affordable clay and farm activities
These include digging for worms, wildlife spotting, wheel throwing demonstrations, marshmallow roasting and decoration painting.
There are also sheep, goats, chickens, guinea pigs and bunnies to meet.
Oasis Farm will also be serving refreshments including some festive classics such as mulled wine and hot toddies.
Any profits made at the makers market will be put towards continuing to run charitable programmes at Oasis Farm Waterloo and Mud Gang Pottery CIC.
Mud Gang Pottery CIC runs a programme of charitable projects with the community as well as running affordable, flexible workshops for adults and children.
Oasis Farm Waterloo has transformed a strip of wasteland into a flourishing community resource, where the community can learn to care for themselves, others, plants, animals and the environment.
They run a programme of therapeutic and educational activities for children, workshops and seasonal events.
The market is open from 11am to 6pm on Saturday, November 27, and from 11am to 5pm on Sunday, November 28.
