Thibaut Courtois has ended his seven year stint at Chelsea by forcing his dream move to Real Madrid, the club has just confirmed.
In a statement they said what we all knew yesterday as the undignified striking Beligum goalkeeper headed off to Madrid for a medical.
It said: “Chelsea and Real Madrid have tonight agreed terms for the permanent transfer of Thibaut Courtois subject to the agreement of personal terms and passing a medical”
Also bolstering an overcrowded midfield and subject to the completion of the deal Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic will join the Blues on a season-long loan.
That arrivals will pave the way for Tiemoure Bakayoko to complete a loan move to Italy where he is expected to join AC Milan. Striker Michy Batshuayi is expected to move, on loan to Spain to join La Liga outfit Valencia.
