Crystal Palace ‘close’ to deal for Derby County attacker
Crystal Palace are reportedly closing in on the signing of Derby County star Malcolm Ebiowei.
The 18-year-old made 15 appearances and scored one goal in all competitions last season for the Rams – in a breakout season for the youngster.
Now Fabrizio Romano has stated that the Ebiowei has opted to join the Eagles over Manchester United.
The report adds that the former Arsenal youth player has completed a medical at Selhurst Park and is set to sign a five-year deal, keeping him at the South London club until 2027.
Ebiowei made two appearances for the Dutch U15 side in 2018, before switching alliances and making an appearance for England U16 in late 2018.
His first and only senior goal in professional football came against Blackpool in a 2-0 victory.
