Crystal Palace set to have 10 players out of contract this summer

By Richard Cawley

Crystal Palace have 10 players out of contract this summer – potentially creating a window for major squad rebuilding.

In previous windows the Eagles have arguably been constrained by a lack of movement out in terms of free agents.

But that is unlikely to be the case at the end of June with a host of first-teamers currently inside the final six months of their terms in SE25.

The most high-profile are Yohan Cabaye, James McArthur, Joel Ward, Martin Kelly and Wayne Hennessey.

But in-form winger Bakary Sako, fans’ favourite Julian Speroni, Chung-yong Lee, Damien Delaney and Freddie Ladapo are also in the same situation.

Palace will also lose Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Timothy Fosu-Mensah when their loans from Chelsea and Manchester United respectively end on May 31.
