Dillian Whyte has dished out a verbal dig at Tyson Fury after his second-round stoppage of Tom Schwarz in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

There has been talk of Brixton’s Whyte  and Fury, who formerly held multiple version of the world titles, clashing for the WBA diamond belt.

But heavyweight Whyte was unimpressed with German Shwarz, who saw his perfect 24-fight winning streak ended.

Whyte tweeted: “Can’t believe I stayed [up] to watch that joke of a fight.

@Tyson_Fury should be ashamed of [him]self running away from me and fighting these chumps my mother would of Knockout Tom the bum in a round.”

Whyte, ranked highly by all the major governing bodies, faces Oscar Rivas at Greenwich’s 02 Arena on July 20.
