Dons land first signing of the close season – but fee for midfielder will be decided by tribunal

AFC Wimbledon have made their first signing of the summer – Dover Athletic midfielder Mitch Pinnock.

The fee for the 23-year-old will be decided by tribunal.

The Dons also dipped into the non-league game to sign striker Joe Pigott from Maidstone United last season.

Wimbledon first-team coach Simon Bassey said: “We’re delighted to get Mitch over the line. It had been on-going for a while and another League One club were interested in him, but he showed a real desire to join Wimbledon and we’re really pleased to get the deal done.”
