Dulwich Hamlet defender announces he is leaving following promotion

BY RICHARD CAWLEY

Anthony Acheampong has announced he is leaving Dulwich Hamlet.

He is the fourth player to confirm their departure since the South London club won promotion from the Isthmian League Premier Division.

Striker Reise Allassani signed for Coventry City last week while Marc Weatherstone and Kenny Beaney have also used social media to confirm they will be moving on.

Centre-back Acheampong tweeted: “Thank you for this amazing year of football. The target at the beginning of the year was to achieve promotion which we did & I will forever remember this great season. I will now be moving on but would like to thank the fans for all their support this season.”
