Dulwich Runners: Clare Elms first home for club in Surrey Cross County League fixture

Last weekend saw the third round of the Surrey Cross Country League, writes Chris Loizou.

The women, who compete in Division One, were at Wimbledon Common and first home for them in 14th place was Clare Elms.

Claire Baglin finished 55th with Helen Lister (73rd) and Rebecca Sculleri (92nd). Packing close behind wereEmma Ibell, Michelle Lennon and Ola Balme.

The men’s team finished fourth at Beckenham Place Park in Division Two.

Leading the charge home in 16th place was Greg Hills, closely followed by Buzz Shepherd in 17th.

Next in was Steve Davies (31st), Tim Bowen (36th place) and then Andy Bond, Daniel Mann, Charlie lound and Tom South.
