Exclusive: Alex Pearce agrees new Millwall contract

Alex Pearce has agreed a new contract with Millwall.

The Lions offered the 32-year-old centre-back reduced terms.

Pearce had been due to become a free agent on July 1 but he has committed to staying in SE16 for the 2021-22 Championship campaign.

The former Reading and Derby defender made 26 appearances – 24 in the league – last season.

Pearce has featured 72 time since arriving from the Rams in January 2019, initially on loan.
