Family appeal to Lewisham florist to return home
The sister of a missing florist has begged her to come home to her family six days after she went missing.
Alice King, 37, has not been seen by family members since Friday, August 24 on Manwood Road, Crofton Park at around 4.30pm. She was walking towards Catford at the time.
When she was last seen, Alice is believed to have been wearing jeans, a white top and a blue cardigan.
She was also seen by a friend walking along Ladywell Road, Lewisham, about 7pm that evening.
She left the house without her phone and did not tell anyone where she was going, or why she was going out.
Her older sister Amy said: “We are worried because she took no change of clothes and no one who knows her has any knowledge of where she is. It is very alarming. We cannot imagine her willingly spending any time away from her children. She is such a devoted mum.
“She has never gone missing before. She was really looking forward to her son, who was due to come back from holiday the day after she went missing. She is very kind and takes care of so many people.
“Alice we are here for you whenever you are ready.
“We can listen, talk you through what help you need, pass a message for you and help you to be safe.
“She is a great mum and a very kind person.”
The poster adds her children are “very worried” for her whereabouts and her friends and family are “extremely concerned.”
Alice has links to New Cross, Lewisham, Nunhead, Brockley, Catford, Peckham, Charlton, St Mary’s Cray, Bromley and Orpington. She went to Edmund Walker primary school and Sydenham Girls School.
Police have urged anyone with information about her whereabouts to call 101 or Missing People on 116000, quoting reference 18MIS034601.

I met her in the railway pub in Birmingham on 3rd September and we all had a drink and she asked to use my friends phone to call somebody from a bit of paper, she was safe and left in 4th September morning , did mention many times she was from lewisham and a florist and going home soon
