Fans enjoy open training at Stamford Bridge

Callum Hudson-Odoi is back, writes Paul Lagan.

The winger took part in Frank Lampard’s opening training session at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

It allowed fans into the ground to watch their heroes put through their paces and they were doubly lucky to see the winger in action.

Also taking part and who could be ready for a first-team return on Saturday is Antonio Rudiger.

The German centre-back played the full 90 minutes in Monday’s 3-0 for the U23s against Liverpool at the bridge.

A brace from Michy Batshuayi and a lovely  strike from impressive Tini Anjorin gave the 2,000 crowd a welcome win.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich watched Emma Hayes’s charges beat an Israel national side 3-1 in a promotional match in Tel Aviv
on Tuesday night.

Goals from Bethany England, and wonder strike from skipper Magdalena Eriksson and clever, trap and chip from midfielder Sophie Ingle sealed the women’s first win of their pre-season.
