Fleetwood Town v Charlton Athletic team news: Five further changes as Charlie Kirk comes back in to start
BY LOUIS MENDEZ
Nigel Adkins makes five changes for today’s trip to Fleetwood Town – which means Charlton have now tallied 28 changes over the course of the last five games.
Charlie Kirk comes in to start after not featuring at all during the last four outings, whilst Pape Souare, Chris Gunter, Harry Arter and Alex Gilbey all also return to the line-up.
Sean Clare and Corey Blackett-Taylor drop to the bench following the midweek home defeat against Bolton, whilst none of Ben Watson, Ben Purrington or Adam Matthews have travelled to the Fylde Coast.
The Addicks are expected to line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation with Josh Davison leading the line. Wideman Jonathan Leko is fit enough to start again despite being forced off with a knee problem in midweek.
George Dobson and Diallang Jaiyesimi have travelled but aren’t in the matchday squad.
Charlton: MacGillivray, Gunter, Famewo, Lavelle, Arter, Gilbey, Kirk, Lee, Leko, Davison. Subs: Henderson, Pearce, Stockley, Morgan, Washington, Blackett-Taylor, Clare.
