Former Crystal Palace striker makes temporary exit from AFC Wimbledon
Aldershot Town have signed AFC Wimbledon striker Corie Andrews on loan.
The 23-year-old, who was formerly on Crystal Palace’s books, has joined the National League club until January 3, with an option to extend. The Brixton-based forward moved to the Dons at the start of the year after being released by the Eagles. He is yet to make a first-team appearance for Mark Robinson’s side.
“Due to Covid-19, Corie has not played regular football since the season was curtailed when he was at Kingstonian,” said Wimbledon’s head coach. “He is in much better physical shape than when he arrived with us.
“Aldershot is a great opportunity for him to go and score goals at a very good level.”
