Gary Cahill ‘rejects’ new Crystal Palace contract – Rangers linked with deal

Gary Cahill has reportedly rejected a new Crystal Palace contract.

The 35-year-old signed for the Eagles in the summer of 2019 on a free transfer from Chelsea.

Cahill’s contract with the South London club expired on July 1.

The Sun are reporting that the centre-back has turned down a new deal at Selhurst Park. They add that his current wage demands are too high for Crystal Palace.

Cahill made 61 appearances and scored five goals for England.

Cahill has been linked with a move to Scottish Premiership champions Rangers.
