James Vennings and Ben Dempsey offered deals as Addicks take up options on Ghandour and Ness

Charlton have provided an update on their academy players – confirming they have offered contracts to midfielders James Vennings and Ben Dempsey.

The Addicks have taken up the option of an extra year on the contracts of U23 players Wassim Aouachria, Billy French, Hady Ghandour and Lucas Ness.

Charles Clayden, Nathan Harness, Nathan Harvey, Jay Mingi and Johl Powell have been tabled new terms.

Second-year scholars Terrell Agyemang, Jimmy Appiah, Nazir Bakrin, Mason Burstow, Dylan Gavin, Jeremy Santos Hurtado have all been offered professional contracts.

U18s captain Richard Chin, who has been on an extended schoolboy registration, has been offered a pro contract.

Richard Afrene Kesey, Kasim Aidoo, Eddie Allsopp, Freddie Barton, Junior Quitirna, Harry Taylor and Luca Vega have been released.
