Leeds, West Ham United, Newcastle and Aston Villa linked with Crystal Palace midfielder
A host of Premier League clubs are being linked with a move for Crystal Palace midfielder James McCarthy.
The 90 Min website claims that newly-promoted Leeds United, West Ham, Newcastle and Aston Villa are all interested in the former Everton man.
They claim that McCarthy’s return to action after a succession of niggly injuries has “caught the attention” of the quartet – with Leeds, West Ham and Newcastle all making contact with the South London club.
The Irishman signed a three-year deal when he arrived at Palace from the Toffees.
He made 33 Premier League appearances last season, 16 of those starts.
