Lewisham EuroMillions winner has one month left to come forward to claim £1,000,000 prize

There is just a month left for the missing winner of a £1,000,000 EuroMillions prize, from a ticket bought in Lewisham, to come forward and claim their win.

The winning Millionaire Maker code on 29 January 2021 was VSHS 38986 and the lucky ticket-holder only has until 28 July 2021 to claim their prize.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said: “Time really is running out for the winner of this prize, but we are still hopeful that someone will come forward at the very last minute to claim the money.

“We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets one final time or look anywhere a missing EuroMillions ticket could be hiding.

“This life-changing prize could really help to make dreams become a reality for someone out there.

“We’re encouraging everyone to check their tickets online at national-lottery.co.uk or by downloading the National Lottery app, and to buy or check their tickets in retail in line with government guidance.

“Playing online via the website or app means that your ticket is checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize. You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you’re a winner.

“If you have the winning ticket call the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050 to claim.”

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK. Players generate an average of £36M each week for National Lottery-funded projects.

This money helps support everything from the local charity making a difference where you live through to helping our nation’s athletes win Olympic and Paralympic gold medals.

To date, over £43BN has been raised and distributed to National Lottery Good Causes through more than 635,000 individual grants.

Players have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize if they have the winning ticket.

Anyone who has any queries or who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050 or email help@national-lottery.co.uk
