A brand new Christmas market is coming to Wandsworth
Wandsworth is in for a festive treat with a brand new sustainable market landing at the end of the month.
Ram Quarter, Greenland’s redevelopment of the former Young’s brewery, will host the festivities on November 30, forming part of the wider Wandsworth Town Christmas Festival.
With almost 50 stalls offering high-quality, handmade and sustainable arts, fashion and crafts, there will also be several hot food stalls to keep visitors cozy with a range of winter warmers.
For those wanting to get involved in crafting, stallholders will be running workshops throughout the day, with a special focus on children, offering face-painting, arts and crafts, and Christmas badge making.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be onsite to greet children from 2pm to 3.30pm, and there’ll be other activities from carousels to teacup rides, bumper cars and bungee trampolines for children looking for some holiday excitement.
The market will run between 10.30am and 4.30pm in Bubbling Well Square, at the heart of Ram Quarter.
Managing the Christmas market this year is Go Inspire, a London-based organiser focused on empowering women to build economic independence. The group has experience managing markets across London, from Wimbledon to Tooting.
Taotao Song, chief executive officer of Greenland UK, said: “This year’s Christmas market will be the perfect way to begin the season of giving.”
