Woolwich Works transforms into a Halloween haven for half-term
This October half-term, Woolwich Works will transform into a Halloween haven with a line-up full of family fun.
The events venue in Royal Arsenal, Woolwich, has announced a series of activities taking place from October 23 to November 3.
Highlights from Woolwich Works Halloween schedule include drop-in Halloween Creation Stations inspired by beloved children’s stories, and an energetic Big Fish Little Fish Family Rave featuring world-famous DJ Prime Cuts.
Opening the programme on October 28, families are invited to an adventurous Halloween hunt across the Royal Arsenal.
Start at the Dial Arch pub, solve riddles, and find letters hidden in shop windows to crack the prize-winning word. Families who complete the hunt can enjoy a host of prizes back at the starting point.
From the creators of The Princess and the Frog, Alice in Wonderland, and more, Let’s All Dance Productions will offer a brand-new ballet for the whole family on October 30.
Join the Ugly Duckling on his heartwarming journey to self-discovery, with crystal-clear storytelling and larger than life characters.
October 31, will see teaching artist Christina Rose-Brown lead Halloween Creation Stations. The free drop-in sessions allow children to unleash their creativity, taking inspiration from beloved children’s books.
Whether it’s making a skeleton puppet inspired by Funny Bones, crafting a mini broomstick like Room on a Broom, or designing a monster with Not Now Bernard! There’s something for every imagination to explore.
Later the same day families will get the chance to learn the iconic moves from Michael Jackson’s Thriller.
The fun, step-by-step dance workshop is perfect for beginners and families of all ages. Begin with a warm-up to a mashup of dance floor favourites before diving into the famous choreography.
