Woolwich Works transforms into sugary wonderland for Christmas
This Christmas, Woolwich Works will be packed with wonderful activities that will entertain visitors of all ages.
From November 30, to January 6, the arts centre in Royal Arsenal will host a jam-packed line up of events designed to light up your holiday season – many of which are completely free.
But, to kick things off, Woolwich Works will be transformed into a sugary wonderland.
From November 29 up until December 23, Santa will be making a quick stop at the Fireworks Factory to welcome families to his enchanting Gingerbread Grotto.
Step inside the Grotto which will be adorned with an icing tiled roof and walk throughout the lollipop-lined garden before making a special visit to Santa and collecting your free gingerbread.
This event is for all ages and will take place on select weekends leading up to Christmas. Tickets are £10 per child, parents, carers and family members go free.
But the fun doesn’t stop there with a free edible exhibition running alongside the Gingerbread Grotto, from November 31 until January 6.
Schoolchildren have been working hard to create their very own Gingerbread Greenwich, where the streets are paved with candy and buildings are crafted from gingerbread.
This sweet spectacle is open for everyone to enjoy with no booking required.
